There seems to be a move away from users needing to even visit sites nowadays with more and more companies offering slim toolbar summaries of their sites like this one at www.Casinotabs.com

Of course microsoft already offers this for their Xbox 360 players, but gambling companies and games developers are looking at the format to keep their users up to date with more than just one simple RSS feed.
